Students also have no school on Mon, Jan 4, 2027 and Tue, Jan 5, 2027, which makes the time off 18 days long.

We fetch this document again every day and compare it with the version we verified; if the district changes it, the dates here are read again.

Note: The calendar does not say whether the board approved it, so status is unknown. Early dismissal times: early childhood schools 12:30 PM, elementary (PreK4-5th) 12:15 PM, middle schools 12:45 PM, Cardwell Career Preparatory 1:00 PM, Singley Academy, Irving, MacArthur and Nimitz high schools 1:15 PM. The first semester ends Dec 18 and the second starts Jan 6. Teacher Workday/Student Holiday Aug 4-10 falls before the first day of school. May 28 (teacher workday/student holiday) and Memorial Day May 31 fall after the last day. Oct 13 is a teacher workday/student holiday right after Fall Break (Oct 9-12). Nov 2 is a Holiday and Nov 3 a teacher workday, so no school both days. District offices are closed on some Fridays in July and June, but this does not affect students.
