The listed early release days are for elementary schools: early-out schedule on Aug. 20, Oct. 13 and March 11 (marked in the elementary row) and early dismissal Wednesday through Friday of the elementary parent/teacher conference weeks (Sept. 23-25 and Feb. 10-11; not for the May conferences). Elementary schools also dismiss early every Friday, and junior high and high schools start late every Wednesday. Secondary parent/teacher conferences: high schools on Monday and Tuesday, junior highs on Wednesday and Thursday of the conference weeks (Sept. 14-18, Nov. 16-20, Feb. 1-5, Apr. 19-23); schools set the schedule. Nov. 25 and Feb. 12 are teacher compensation days (no school for students); if school is closed for inclement weather, school may be held on Feb. 12 as a make-up day and the compensation day would be rescheduled. High school graduation ceremonies are May 25-28. Memorial Day (May 31) falls after the last day of school.
