We fetch this document again every day and compare it with the version we verified; if the district changes it, the dates here are read again.

Note: Passed at the Oct. 20, 2025 board meeting (board minutes; district news article of Mar. 5, 2026). Oct. 12, Feb. 12 and Mar. 12 are the inclement weather make-up days: the district counts them as teacher workday/staff development days with no school for students unless one is needed to make up a weather closure (it may then be an eLearning day). Jan. 6 is a teacher workday; students return Jan. 7. Half days for students: Oct. 23 and Jan. 29 (parent conferences), Nov. 20 and Apr. 23 (staff development), Dec. 18, and June 3 (last day). On half days elementary and middle schools release early and high schools start late (11 a.m.), per the district's Instructional Calendar page. The district's highlights and news article call the Thanksgiving week 'Fall Break'. The calendar counts 180 days (June 3 is the 180th day). Graduation dates are not on the calendar: the district events feed linked from the Instructional Calendar page (Subscribe) lists the high school graduations June 1-3, 2027 and shows the same no-school days and half days. bcsdschools.net shows a bot check to this network; the page was read on the district's Apptegy host (berkeleycosdsc.sites.thrillshare.com, same page path). A Web Archive capture of the Instructional Calendar page (Aug. 22, 2026) matches that host, and the calendar the board approved (BoardDocs) has the same dates.
