Note: Approved together with the 2026-27 calendar at the Oct. 20, 2025 board meeting (board minutes: the 26-27 and 27-28 instructional calendars); published on the district's Instructional Calendar page. Oct. 11, Feb. 18 and Mar. 14 are the inclement weather make-up days: the district counts them as teacher workday/staff development days with no school for students unless one is needed to make up a weather closure. Nov. 19 is a half teacher workday/half staff development day with no school for students, and Mar. 13 is a break day (no school). Jan. 4 is a teacher workday; students return Jan. 5. Spring Break runs Monday Apr. 10 to Monday Apr. 17. Half days for students: Oct. 22 and Jan. 28 (parent conferences), Dec. 17, and June 1 (last day); on half days elementary and middle schools release early and high schools start late (11 a.m.). The calendar counts 180 days (June 1 is the 180th day). The version in the board packet (BoardDocs) has the same dates in its grid and monthly day counts; its side list has two typos (students return Jan. 6, Presidents' Day Feb. 21-22) that its own grid and day counts contradict.
