We fetch this document again every day and compare it with the version we verified; if the district changes it, the dates here are read again.

Note: Covers NYCPS schools from 3-K through grade 12 (not charter, private or NYCEEC programs). Election Day (Nov 3) is a remote-instruction day for all students, not a day off. School types follow the calendar's definitions: elementary schools serve K-8 (including those with 3-K and Pre-K programs and those ending in grade 5 or 6), middle schools grades 6-8, high schools grades 9-12, and 6-12 schools grades 6-12 in a single school. Students are dismissed three hours early for parent-teacher conferences by school level: elementary schools and Pre-K Centers Nov 5 and Mar 3; middle schools and D75 Nov 12 and Mar 4; high schools, K-12 and 6-12 schools Nov 20 and Mar 19. When buildings close for weather or emergencies, NYCPS may hold school remotely.
