Note: The Governing Board approved the 2-2-2 calendars for 2024-25, 2025-26 and 2026-27 on May 16, 2023 (item 9.02); on March 3, 2026 it discussed moving the 2026-27 spring break and made no change (minutes). This posted PDF (Revised 03/23) has the approved dates plus a 1-hour early release on July 29, which the district's online calendar also shows. School starts Tuesday, July 28, 2026 (Gilbert uses a calendar with two-week fall, winter and spring breaks). The district calendar page lists the same key dates and its online event calendar matches the PDF. Listed Wednesday early releases are 1 hour; days marked '1/2 day K-12' (Aug. 26, grading days Oct. 2 and Mar. 12, Oct. 28, Dec. 18, Jan. 27, Mar. 3 and the last day) are half days for all grades, and May 26 is a half day for junior high and high school with a 1-hour early release for K-6. Sept. 17-18 (parent-teacher conferences) are half days for grades K-6 only; Dec. 17 (end of semester) is a half day for grades 7-12 only and is not listed as an early release day. April 26 is marked No School. The calendar states 180 days (89 + 91). Graduation dates are from the district's online event calendar: Gilbert Classical Academy May 26, the five high schools May 27. Memorial Day (May 31) is after the last day.
